Beyond Management Rights is Marion Simon’s. Go Wide Group co-organises it, and this piece is written by us about our own work, which is worth saying in the first line rather than the last.
Go Wide Group is a bilingual production house with three branches — films, events, and marketing & AI — working with hotels, tourism, real estate and the businesses around them, on the Gold Coast and in Buenos Aires. Members of Skål International since 2024. Each branch works on its own or with the others, and all three do the same thing: the work, done properly, so your time stays yours.
On 13 October the room at The Laneway held owners, resident managers, receptionists, housekeepers, maintenance teams, brokers and suppliers. Free entry, a cash bar, four people on a panel answering questions about guests who will not behave, and about two hours where everybody in that industry could find everybody else.
What it actually takes
An industry night looks like a venue booking. It is closer to a production: an exhibitor floor that has to be sold and then laid out, a panel that has to be found, briefed and kept to time, a run sheet, badges, signage, a projector loop, and a campaign that reaches several hundred people without being the kind of email nobody opens.
The part that surprises people is the follow-up. The night ends and the work does not: the thank you, the photographs, the reviews, the list of who wants to be in the room next time. Most of that is a system rather than a person, which is the half we build.
What we do the rest of the year
Go Wide Group is three things that usually need three suppliers. Go Wide Studio films and photographs properties and events. Go Wide Events runs nights like this one, and private and corporate ones. Nexo Terra builds the marketing, the websites and the AI systems behind them — including this site and the emails you have been getting from it.
The common thread is time. A film is faster than explaining a property. An event is faster than fifty separate coffees. A system that answers a guest at two in the morning is faster than you doing it. None of that is clever for its own sake — it is work that would otherwise sit on somebody’s desk.
For everyone who was in the room
Anyone who came to Beyond Management Rights 2026 gets 25% off anything we do — film and photography, events, marketing and AI. Mention Beyond when you get in touch and it comes off the project.
And if you run a business in this industry, write your own piece. Beyond News is for the businesses in the network to say what they fixed and what they learned, and one of them is named Business of the Month. It is the cheapest marketing in this industry, because it costs an email.
